The Landings at Inverness is comprised of 58 platted lots (46 built units and 12 vacant lots) accessed from E Vine Street. We are within the City of Inverness limits and have public water, sewer, and garbage service.
The community is managed cooperatively by a contracted management services company and a seven-member elected board of directors (homeowner volunteers).
The majority of the homes were built in the mid-to-late 1980s as townhomes, two units with a common wall. There are no age restrictions. The roads are private.
The entrance is shared with a separate development of 20 plated lots (8 built units and 12 vacant lots), Oaklee Grove. Oaklee Grove has its own governing board.
The Landings at Inverness has no community facilities (e.g., clubhouse, pool). There is a community dock and beyond that is a private 16 slip dock operated by a Slip Owners Association, a separate legal entity responsible for its own management and administration. The slips are assigned to specific units and are for their use only. Please contact us to verify units with an assigned slip.
The Landings at Inverness has specific governing documents. We are a deed restricted community. Documents are posted on the home page.
The Department of Environmental Protection is not allowing new docks to be built on lakefront property within in The Landings at this time. The HOA is presently in legal negotiations with the DEP.
